Used to work out your current age — so you only need to give retirement age and life expectancy as ages below, not durations.

01

The age you want your corpus to last till. E.g. enter 80 if you expect to live till 80.

02

03

Don't include SIPs or other recurring investments here — those go separately under Investments below.

06

Add each investment source separately — current value and/or an ongoing monthly SIP, both growing at that source's own expected return. Their future values will be combined and subtracted from the gap.

Income & Expenses

Add a row for each amount and mark it Income or Expense. Monthly & Yearly rows are today's ₹, escalate with inflation above, and run for the whole plan unless you give it a change below. One-time rows fire once, after the number of years you give.

Changes to Income & Expenses

Pick an item from row 04 and give its new amount and after how many years it kicks in. From that year, the new amount replaces the old one for that item. Add several rows for the same item to chain multiple changes — e.g. EMI ₹45,000 now → ₹40,000 after 5 yrs → ₹20,000 after 8 yrs. Leave an item alone to keep it unchanged for the whole plan.

Assets & Investments

Current value and/or ongoing monthly SIP, each growing at its own expected return. Turn on step-up SIP to increase the SIP every year. Under Allocation, earmark an investment to a specific one-time expense above (from row 04) instead of the general corpus.
